Ambassador Hotel

Renovation in Palm Beach, FL

The waterfront hotel’s owners seek to reinvigorate and reimagine this grande dame of coastal Palm Beach for a new era.  The proposed intervention channels the Art Deco styling of the original 1940s tower while updating the hotel for today’s clientele and adding amenities such as a ballroom, full-service spa, and freestanding restaurant pavilion with views of the pool and ocean.  Surface parking that covers substantial stretches of the site is to be relocated and concealed beneath structure and dune, allowing for a transformation of the property beyond the building walls that includes expansive outdoor living areas and lush tropical landscaping.
